Artist's Comments

This necklace was made in Winter and the colors of my favourite beads were as delicate as only recall can be...

P.S. This item was sold long ago, so I can't make better photo. Recall is all I have now =)

I know how to make flowers like that, what I was wondering was how you attached them to the neckalace? I used ribbon on the back to protect the skin from the excess wire, but I was wondering if there was a better way to do it.

Beautiful work you do, I am amazed by your craftmanship!

Just out of curiosity, how much did you sell it for?

I don't use ribbons or any similar materials, I just keep sharp ends away from the skin, they are at the front side just under the flowers. I'm not sure it's better than ribbon, but it's more appropriate for this construction.

Handmade things are not so expensive in Russia as in USA or Europe, so I've sold it for just 40$ or 50$, I don't remember exactly =(
I'm interested, how much could it cost in USA?

And could you give me a link to your jewelry where you used ribbon =)?

This is the link to the necklace with ribbon on the back of the flower [link]
I think you could get $60-70 for your necklaces. At an art show, where there are people who would appreciate the workmanship of what you do and be willing to pay that kind of money for it.

Thanks for the link, the necklace is so airy =) I think that ribbon is a very good idea for your design.
And thanks for telling me the price, it's a little higher, than I got for the item, but the difference is not so big as I thaught.
:iconwtfook:
how do you get the flowers into their shape? wires?

Спасибо, Гузель!
Эх, уже почти 2 года, как ее у меня нет...
Так тяжело с ними расставаться =(
А как ты борешься с этой проблемой?
:icongbdreams:
борюсь с кащейскими замашками, когда отдаешь красивую вещь, хочется сделать еще красивее, так вот и развиваемся

Отличный подход =)
